November 2011
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
It
seems that the year has flown by already. So much has happened and God
has been so faithful as he continues to lead and guide us. The last
weekend in September we had our 5th annual Women's Retreat at which time
we had the joy and privilege of having our good friend Judi Hall from
Calvary Chapel Sierra Valley/Loyalton, California as our guest speaker.
She also brought with her Jan Litchfield who shared her testimony with
the ladies. The Lord moved in incredible ways. Women came from
different parts of the country with a mixture of many cultures
represented there to worship the Lord, hear the word of God and sit at
His feet. Truly an amazing time as He blended us together as one.
Always an awesome thing that only the Lord can do. Lives were truly
touched and changed as the word went forth, the women had a great time
and God was truly glorified. Thank you Judi and Jan for coming and
blessing the women in Belize and thank you to all who had been praying
for the retreat.
We had four young men
from Seine bight come forward to get baptized. Kirwin, Shelston, Elvin
and Darnell. So on Sunday the 9th we had a very special day. One of the
young men got sick but we still baptized four. Rob Poole from the
states was visiting that Sunday and while we were out in the water he
felt God tug on his heart to follow Jesus in water Baptism. It was so
special. Then Joyce who just started coming to our fellowship asked if
we could baptize her on Monday morning. Many of us gathered together
and went out to the sea in front by our home and had a very special
Monday morning. It was a blessed week for us all. To see God move on
the hearts of his people to obey him is incredible. Thank you Lord for
allowing us the privilege of being a part of your kingdom and your
work!
We are still praying for the
Lord to provide a building and teams to help build in Seine Bight. A
building project is way over my head and Pastor Rick Wilson in Truckee
has stepped up to help with it. God bless that Brother!! We need prayer
about our electricity situation also. Our lines were taken down by
the Electric Company and we have been paying a neighbor for the use of
their electricity. I guess they have not paid their bill and it has
been turned off. When we figure out what we are doing with the building
on the lot then we will see about getting the electricity hooked up
again.
We love you all and may God bless you,
Jim and Anna
